The Royal Ascot. The horse race that’s a British High-Society must. The Ascot summer race event officially became a royal week in 1911. Over the 5 days, the event has no limit of the world’s best race horses, the fanciest fashion and the most exquisite delicacies. With it being one of the most prestigious events in the world, looking your absolute best is your utmost priority. Head to toe, you must be dressed with grace. However there are a few strict dress codes you must abide in order to attend. Skirts or dresses must be just above or below knee length. Hats worn within the Royal Enclosure must be at least 10cm.
With so many beautiful outfits, it’s hard to choose just a few favourites. Pictured above is Fashion Mumblr blogger, Josie, who was spot on with her Royal Ascot style in her Ted Baker dress and Ana Bella Millinery hat. The large extravagant hat being the main focal point, why not add our Polly and Bella earrings for that final touch of flora.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked pastel perfect in a blue pleated Elie Saab dress, with matching saucer hat.
We would love to see our classic Jenna earrings with this timeless look, adding a subtle touch of sparkle.
Another firm favorite of ours at this years Ascot is that of Rosie Tapner who wowed in her stylish pink flared dress with a voluminous red bow from Suzannah.
Kimberly Garner looked stunning in her summer chic plunging white blouse. The Made in Chelsea beauty arrived dressed to impress for the event with her modern twist on the traditional race style, wowing in her all white ensemble styled by Elizabeth Stewart.
